Vancouver Island University, previously known as Malaspina College is a public university established in the year 1969. The University is located at Vancouver Island and coastal British Columbia. The main campus is located in Nanaimo, and there are regional campuses in Duncan and Powell River, and a campus center in Parksville. The campus has a very high student enrolment of approximately 2000 students from more than 85 countries. The student-faculty ratio is one of the lowest in the country with around 92 percentage of student satisfaction rate. He programs are taught by teachers who have marked their excellence in respective fields and education is provided at a reasonable rate. Students are allowed to take up part time or full time work at various locations in Canada in accordance to their program schedule.
