Brock University is a public research university in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada. It is the only university in Canada in a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve near the Niagara Peninsula. TheBrock offers a wide variety of disciplines to choose from as undergraduate and graduate levels, including professional degrees. Brock was ranked third in a comparison with other Canadian universities on the basis of research publication and impact indicators in the year 2008, which was the most recent ranking that has been completed of its kind. Brock University is the only school in Canada and internationally to offers Mathematics Integrated with Computing and Applications program, which is a much sought after course. The Department of Health Sciences conducts the only undergraduate degree in Public Health in whole of Canada and at the graduate level, Brock offers 49 programs which are open for international students as well. The university has 12 Canada Research Chairs and nine faculty members who have in recent times received the 3M Teaching Fellowship Award, the only national award that acknowledges teaching excellence and educational leadership. Students of Brock University has one of the highest employment rates among all Ontario universities, at a record high of 97.2 percent.
